Nearly 19 years after the heartbreaking death of Steve Irwin, Terri Irwin says she’s still deeply devoted to the man she calls her soulmate—and has no interest in dating again.
In a new interview with Stellar Magazine (April 2025), Terri, now 60, said, “I found my happily ever after.” Reflecting on life since Steve’s passing in 2006, she added, “So I’m lonely for Steve, but I’m not lonely.”
Terri has stayed focused on honoring Steve’s legacy through wildlife conservation alongside their children, Bindi and Robert. She’s also consistently shut down persistent dating rumors, including speculation about relationships with actor Russell Crowe and even King Charles. “Russell is just a great friend,” she clarified. “He’s been incredibly loyal since Steve passed.”
Daughter Bindi echoed her mom’s feelings, saying, “When you find your soulmate, you don’t want to move on.”
And as for dating? Terri summed it up with a laugh: “I have a lot of quiet evenings with a nice, big, juicy pizza.”
