The World Marvelled at Their Birth 11 Years Ago: Here’s What These Famous Quadruplets Look Like Now

Eleven years ago, the Carle family welcomed not just one, but four little miracles into the world—identical quadruplet girls, the only set in all of England. At the time, their birth made headlines, and for good reason: they’re part of a tiny global club, with just 27 known sets of identical quadruplets worldwide.

Fast forward to today, and these sisters—now lively, curious, and inseparable 11-year-olds—are still turning heads wherever they go. Whether it’s walking into school, sitting together at the doctor’s office, or enjoying beach holidays with their friends, the girls move through life as a tight-knit unit. Their bond is as strong as ever.

But getting here wasn’t always easy. Born prematurely, their early days were filled with uncertainty and hospital visits. Now, looking at their bright smiles and boundless energy, it’s hard to imagine the hurdles they’ve already overcome. And if you happen to run into them? Good luck telling them apart at first glance!

At just five years old, the girls stepped into the spotlight again—this time as models. A Sainsbury’s back-to-school campaign launched their modeling journey, and the girls quickly became sought-after faces in children’s advertising. For their mom, it was a win on all fronts: her daughters loved the experience, and she happily accepted the free clothes, especially with four sets of school uniforms to keep track of. “It definitely helped cut down on the laundry,” she joked.

Of course, being one-in-64-million means they’ve become a bit of a local phenomenon. In their hometown, people recognize them instantly—and not just because of their matching faces. It’s their shared giggles, playful personalities, and that unmistakable sibling chemistry that leaves a lasting impression.

And while they may look identical, their personalities are anything but. One might be the outgoing performer, another the bookworm, while the third loves animals and the fourth can’t stop drawing. Their parents have always encouraged them to express themselves, and now each girl often chooses her own clothing style to reflect her individuality—a colorful way to say, “This is me.”

As they grow up, the Carle sisters continue to captivate hearts—not just because of their rarity, but because of the joy and light they bring into every room they enter. Their story is one of resilience, togetherness, and the beautiful chaos of growing up side by side.

And really, who wouldn’t be amazed by that?
