We all have our own unique beauty, and that’s what makes the world so interesting. But for many, insecurity about appearance can lead to drastic decisions—and in today’s world, modern cosmetic procedures offer almost unlimited ways to alter our looks.
Some people opt for a subtle enhancement. Others take things to the extreme in their pursuit of the “perfect” image—even if perfection is impossible to define.
One woman, Andrea Ivanova, a 25-year-old from Sofia, Bulgaria, has taken her obsession with cosmetic transformation to new heights. Her goal? To have the biggest lips in the world.
Andrea has undergone 27 cosmetic procedures, using lip fillers and hyaluronic acid to dramatically expand the size of her lips—quadrupling their original size, according to Unilad.
“I really like them and feel much better now,” she told Jam Press.
$5,000 and Counting
Each injection in Bulgaria costs about $150, and Andrea estimates she’s spent more than $5,000 on her lips alone, according to Malay Mail. But she’s not done yet. Despite warnings from doctors, she plans to keep going.
For Andrea, it’s simple: “I want to have the biggest lips in the world.” Even though she’s not officially recognized by any world record books, she firmly believes she already holds the title.
Online Fame—and Controversy
Her look has caught global attention, especially online. “I get messages from men all over the world offering me money, trips, and constantly asking to meet me,” she said.
Many of her followers claim no one has lips larger than Andrea’s—and she couldn’t be happier. In fact, she’s now shifting her focus to a new goal: the widest cheekbones in the world.
“I want to have not only the biggest lips, but also some of the biggest cheekbones,” she shared on Instagram. She’s already had four cheekbone injections and plans two more this week.
“I’m trying to model and enhance them significantly,” she added. “But I still want even bigger lips, too.”
So far, Andrea has received more than 34 cosmetic injections—and she has no plans of stopping.
Struggles After Surgery—and No Regrets
While the procedures make eating difficult for a few days, Andrea says it’s all worth it. “I really love my new lips. It’s hard to eat after the injections, especially for the first couple of days, but there aren’t any major food restrictions,” she explained.
Some doctors have urged her to stop, but her current physician has agreed to continue treatment if she takes a short break between injections.
Ignoring the Haters
Naturally, Andrea’s extreme look has attracted plenty of online criticism. But she doesn’t let the negativity get to her.
“I think everyone should look however they want,” she said.
