In a touching display of love, Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy shares a heartfelt moment with her daughter on live television while announcing thrilling new plans.

At 52, Fox News contributor Rachel Campos-Duffy is a proud mom of nine. One of her youngest, 4-year-old Valentina, was born with Down syndrome — and Rachel says she’s had a profound impact on their entire family.

Appearing on-air alongside Valentina for World Down Syndrome Day, Campos-Duffy shared how her daughter has helped teach her other eight children lessons in patience, kindness, and compassion.

“She is as lovely, as precious, as joyful as any other child,” she said. “In fact, I’d say our family is better because of her.”

Valentina stole hearts right from the start of the segment, waving to the audience and cheerfully saying “hi.” Later, she showed off her Pilates moves and played around the studio, charming everyone in sight.

Campos-Duffy used the moment to speak out about the importance of acceptance and awareness for people with Down syndrome. She voiced concern over the high number of pregnancies terminated following a Down syndrome diagnosis.

“So many children with Down syndrome are being aborted, and I think if more people got to meet them and see how amazing they are, that would change,” she said.

She acknowledged that while children with Down syndrome may face some medical issues — like heart or thyroid conditions — many of these are treatable. “They’re just like any other kid,” she said, reassuring parents not to be afraid of the diagnosis.

Campos-Duffy called Valentina the “family favorite,” describing her as a source of endless joy and love who’s brought their household even closer.

By sharing her personal story, Campos-Duffy hopes to inspire more understanding, reduce fear around the diagnosis, and celebrate the incredible value children like Valentina bring to the world.
