In a moment that left both doctors and parents stunned, a Pennsylvania mom captured her newborn daughter doing something most babies don’t even attempt for months—crawling and lifting her head at just three days old.

Samantha Mitchell, 34, couldn’t believe her eyes when baby Nyilah Daise Tzabari started showing signs of strength far beyond her age. “I’ve worked with kids for over 20 years, and I’ve never seen anything like it,” Mitchell told Kennedy News.

Born three weeks past her due date on March 2, 2023, Nyilah weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Just days after her birth, Mitchell’s mother encouraged her to film the unusual moment. “No one would’ve believed me otherwise—not even my fiancé, Ofer,” Mitchell said.

The video shows tiny Nyilah pushing up on her arms, lifting her head, and crawling—milestones that typically show up between six and nine months, according to Healthline. “This wasn’t a one-time thing,” Mitchell said. “She’s been unbelievably strong since the day she was born.”

And the surprises didn’t stop there. By 18 days old, Nyilah was rolling from tummy to back. By two months, she was flipping from back to front. At just three months, she’s already standing with help. “She won’t sit,” Mitchell said. “She straightens her legs like she’s ready to walk. We’re not even trying to make her stand!”

Nyilah’s development isn’t just physical, either. At only six weeks, she started mimicking sounds, even trying to repeat “I love you.” Mitchell added, “She babbles back at us like she’s in a conversation. And when we laugh, she copies the sounds to make us laugh again.”
