Bruce Willis’s Daughter Rumer Shares Heartbreaking Update On His Dementia Condition

Rumer Willis opened up on Father’s Day with a heartfelt message about her dad, Bruce Willis, and his ongoing battle with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

The former action movie icon stepped away from Hollywood in 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia, followed by dementia. Since then, his family has been adjusting to a new kind of normal.

Rumer spoke candidly about how hard it is not being able to talk to her dad the way she used to. Still, she said she’s grateful for the quiet moments they can share—and especially for the joy he finds in spending time with his granddaughter, Louetta.

In her post, she also thanked those supporting families going through similar challenges, touching hearts across social media.

The message was met with an outpouring of love and support, serving as a powerful reminder to cherish every moment with the ones we love.
