When Logan Brown appeared on the cover of Glamour UK as a pregnant man, the internet lit up with mixed reactions. But behind the headlines is a deeply personal and inspiring story of identity, resilience, and love.
Growing up, Logan struggled with gender dysphoria and confusion. “I dressed like a boy but felt ashamed. I didn’t understand what being trans meant,” he shared.
Misunderstood and battling depression, Logan came out as a lesbian at 13 before eventually realizing he was transgender.
Years later, Logan met his partner, Bailey Mills—a non-binary drag artist from London—and sparks flew. Their relationship brought joy and acceptance, but things changed dramatically when Logan, who had paused testosterone treatments for health reasons, discovered he was pregnant.
At first, Logan was overwhelmed. “I felt like my manhood was gone,” he admitted. But over time, he embraced the experience. “I realized this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—to have a baby that’s biologically ours, as a queer couple.”
Though the pregnancy came with emotional and medical challenges—including being misgendered at a new hospital—Logan stayed strong. “I’m a pregnant trans man, and I do exist,” he said, calling for more LGBTQ+ training in healthcare.
After a long and complicated labor, Logan and Bailey welcomed their baby girl. “Nothing could prepare me for it, but I look at her and think, ‘Wow, you are really precious.’ This has been the most incredible journey.”
