“You Will Never Be Forgotten”: Two North Texas Best Friends Die Together In Flood

Best friends Lila Bonner (9) and Eloise Peck (8), both from Dallas, tragically died after flash floods swept through Camp Mystic in Kerr County on July 4, 2025. Their families confirmed their deaths on July 5 and 6, asking for privacy as they grieve.

Eloise’s mother remembered her daughter as a kind, animal-loving soul. A third Dallas girl, Hadley Hanna, was still missing as of July 6.

Reporter Kaitlyn Ross paid tribute to the girls, saying they died together and would never be forgotten. Search efforts continue, with over 50 people

confirmed dead across Texas and more still missing. Communities statewide

have come together in mourning and prayer.
