On Wednesday, November 20, a trailer caused a multi-vehicle collision at kilometer 59 of the Mexico-Querétaro Highway near Huehuetoca, State of Mexico. The trailer, unable to brake in time, slammed into a bank and then hit five cars and a pickup truck.
The impact left the trailer blocking all three northbound lanes, partially shutting down traffic toward Mexico City. Wet roads from earlier rain may have contributed to the crash, though an official investigation is underway.
