Fashion icon Donatella Versace just turned 70, and true to form, she did it with elegance, glamour, and a touch of Broadway.
The legendary designer, who’s spent more than three decades shaping the world of high fashion, celebrated the milestone by attending George Clooney’s Broadway debut in Good Night, and Good Luck. After the show, she gushed on Instagram:
“George, your talent, your courage, and your passion are totally inspiring. Bravo!!”
Wearing a lilac floral dress and beige platform boots, Donatella lit up the evening—and the internet. Fans flooded her page with birthday wishes and awe over her timeless style:
“Happy birthday, more beautiful every year ❤️”
“Forever young!”
And, “Who is this Diva? ❤️”
Donatella’s legacy runs deep. After the tragic death of her brother Gianni in 1997, she took the reins of the Versace empire and led it boldly into the future. Even after Versace’s recent sale to the Prada Group, her influence remains undeniable.
Not one to fade quietly, Donatella was also spotted recently at London’s exclusive Tramp nightclub alongside supermodels Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, and Amber Valletta—proving once again that fashion is fearless at any age. Clad in a leather jacket and embellished jeans, she effortlessly stole the show.
While some noted changes in her appearance, the overwhelming reaction was admiration:
“What an extraordinary woman.”
“Those jeans upstage everyone!”
At 70, Donatella Versace continues to turn heads, break barriers, and redefine what it means to age with style.
