Goldie Hawn isn’t just a Hollywood legend—she’s also a proud and devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren, ranging in age from toddlers to teenagers. Though she and Kurt Russell never officially tied the knot, their love has stood strong for over four decades, creating a blended and tightly knit family.
Goldie’s daughter, Kate Hudson, has three kids. Her son Oliver also has three, and her youngest, Wyatt (with Kurt), has one. The grandkids lovingly call Goldie “Gogo” and Kurt “Gogi”—nicknames that started years ago and stuck.
To stay close, the whole family lives near one another in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles. “We’re a very tight-knit family,” son Oliver shared. “They’re amazing grandparents.”
Beyond movie sets, Goldie also made her mark by founding MindUP, a program focused on teaching mindfulness and emotional health to children—principles she applies with her own grandkids. “They’ve taken MindUP into their homes,” she says proudly.
Her biggest lesson for them?
“Work hard, be compassionate, and stay humble.” It’s the same advice her father once gave her.
Though she’s returned to acting, Goldie’s heart remains rooted in family. Whether she’s on screen or playing Gogo at home, one thing’s clear: Goldie Hawn’s most cherished role is being there for the next generation.
