Theresia Fischer, a German influencer and former Celebrity Big Brother contestant, is opening up about her regret after undergoing a $161,000 leg-lengthening procedure that made her 5.5 inches taller. Originally 5’6″, she now stands over 6 feet tall—but says she’s “ashamed” she ever went through with it.
Fischer, now 31, says her ex pressured her into the extreme surgery, repeatedly telling her she wasn’t enough as she was. The painful operation involved metal rods being inserted into her legs, and has since caused medical complications, including bone inflammation and uneven growth.
Now, she struggles with mobility and recently had to quit a reality show due to the discomfort. “It’s strange to run with metal in your legs,” she shared. She’s currently awaiting removal of the rods, hoping to move on from a choice she now deeply regrets.
