Netflix Fans Horrified By ‘Most Disturbing’ Film Yet As Dark Scenes Sicken Them

Netflix viewers are reeling after watching what many are calling its most disturbing film yet — Cleveland Abduction.

The harrowing drama is based on the true story of Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJesus, three women kidnapped and held captive for over a decade by Ariel Castro in Cleveland, Ohio. The film, starring Taryn Manning and Raymond Cruz, is adapted from Knight’s memoir Finding Me.

Viewers have taken to social media, describing it as “graphic,” “gut-wrenching,” and “absolutely heartbreaking.” Some admitted they were in tears, while others said they were left deeply disturbed after realizing it was based on real events.

The women were rescued in 2013 after Berry managed to escape. Castro was sentenced to life plus 1,000 years but died by suicide just a month into his sentence.

The film has reignited conversation around survival, trauma, and justice — and left a lasting impact on those who watched.
