Well-Known Actress From Dallas And Multiple Sitcoms Passed Away At 95

The entertainment world is mourning the loss of beloved actress Alice Hirson, who passed away of natural causes at the age of 95. Best known for her roles on Dallas, Full House, and Ellen, Hirson left a lasting impression on audiences over decades of television and film work.

Born in Brooklyn in 1929 and raised on Long Island, she built a career that spanned generations. She played memorable roles like Claire Tanner on Full House and Lois Morgan, Ellen DeGeneres’ mother, on Ellen. She also appeared in shows like Murphy Brown, Just Shoot Me, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and in films such as Revenge of the Nerds and Private Benjamin.

Alice Hirson passed away at the Motion Picture and Television Country House and Hospital in Los Angeles. Though she’s gone, her performances and presence continue to resonate with fans who grew up watching her. May she rest in peace.
