Yesi and Bryan aren’t your typical couple — not because of their three-foot height difference, but because of the deep, unshakable love they share. Their story, which they openly document on YouTube, proves that love doesn’t follow rules or care about appearances.
They met online in 2017. Yesi, born with a rare form of dwarfism called diastrophic dysplasia, had always defied expectations. Despite pressure from others to date someone her height, she followed her heart. Bryan, who stands at 5’9″, saw her photo, and instead of hesitating, he was drawn in.
Their first date was a simple dinner, but it revealed something undeniable — a strong, natural connection. A year later, they moved in together. By 2021, they were exchanging vows in the Bahamas, surrounded by ocean views and unwavering love.
Life hasn’t always been easy. Yesi, who is 2’11” and uses a wheelchair, faces daily challenges, from reaching for items to dealing with misconceptions about her abilities. When she first met Bryan’s mom, Maggie, there was tension. Maggie worried Yesi would rely on Bryan too much — unaware that Yesi is independent, drives, and works as a therapist.
Eventually, Maggie saw Yesi for who she truly is: strong, capable, and full of heart. “When you get to know someone, you don’t see height,” she said. “If you love each other, that’s what matters.”
Still, not everyone has been kind. Some relatives questioned their relationship, even whether they should become parents. “People have said horrible things,” Yesi shared. “That I’m disgusting, or crazy for being with someone like him.” But through it all, Bryan remained steady. “I help her because I love her, not because I have to.”
Their love is full of small moments that show big heart — like customizing clothes together or planning for a future family. Yesi beams when she talks about Bryan: “He supports me, cares for me, and goes the extra mile every day.”
Their message is simple: love is love. And when it’s real, it rises above judgment, fear, and every obstacle in its path.
