Netflix viewers can’t stop raving about Untamed, a gripping six-part crime thriller already being hailed as the best of 2025. The series stars Eric Bana as Kyle Turner, a National Parks Service agent drawn into a chilling murder investigation—one that unearths dark secrets buried in the wilderness and in his own past.
The show has exploded in popularity, racking up over 24 million views and 119 million watch hours in just a week. Though Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 71%, fans are rating it much higher.
Audiences are calling it “fast-paced,” “jaw-dropping,” and “binge-worthy.” One viewer praised its “stunning scenery and nonstop twists,” while another added, “I binged the whole thing in one sitting.”
Although Untamed was released as a limited series, rumors of a second season are swirling. Co-showrunner Elle Smith hinted they’d love to continue the story—perhaps in a new park, with a new case.
